Frequently asked questions
What is HellStrat?
HellStrat is a free, fan-made Helldivers 2 stratagem trainer for practicing directional input sequences in your browser.
Is HellStrat official?
No. HellStrat is not affiliated with or endorsed by Arrowhead Game Studios or Sony Interactive Entertainment. It does not connect to your game account or unlock in-game items.
Which keyboard controls does it use?
The default directional keys are W for up, S for down, A for left, and D for right. Settings lets you choose an arrow-key preset or change individual bindings.
Can I use a controller?
Yes, with a gamepad supported by your browser. Choose gamepad input in Settings, press a controller button so the browser detects it, and configure your bindings.
Can I practice on a phone?
The trainer currently requires a browser window at least 900 pixels wide. The guides and stratagem code list can be read on smaller screens.
Where are my settings and results saved?
They are stored locally in your browser. They are not synced between devices. Clearing site data can remove them.
Does HellStrat include every stratagem?
The stratagem list shows the codes currently included in the trainer. Game updates may add or change stratagems, so the list is not guaranteed to cover every current in-game option.
